The Boron CLS Bond technology bonds a permanent and self-replenishing "solid lubricant" onto any metal surface. The near diamond hard solid lubricant coating is very durable and super slippery with a friction coefficient of less than 1.01%.
This is twenty five times more slippery than synthetic oil. As a result, friction inside the engine is reduced 80% and wear is reduced 90%. This frees up horsepower, saves fuel and engines wear.
Engines and transmissions treated with MotorSilk will last 2 to 3 times longer and operate like new for hundreds of thousands of miles.
Tell me about the Boron CLS Bond Technology in MotorSilk.
The Boron CLS Bond technology was developed for the U.S. Department of Energy at the Argonne National Research Laboratories.
The mission objective was to develop and "extreme conditions" lubricant suitable for the demanding requirements of the NASA space program.
History of Boric Acid as a Lubricant
Since World War II scientists at the Argonne National Laboratories, on of the largest science centers in the world employing over 30,000 scientists, have know the potential of Boric Acid as a superior solid surface boundary lubricant. However, not until the late 80's, with the help of super computers, was Boric Acid successfully developed and bonded to metal alloy by Dr. Ali Erdemir.
Using a patented process hydrated Boron molecules are milled to under 1 micron (100X smaller than bacteria) and suspended in oil, until forming a Boric Oxide coating on any metal surface. This technology has given birth to a new generation of super lubricants and is a major breakthrough in lubrication protection since the Boric Oxide forms platelets which are self-replenishing and very durable at 85% the hardness of a diamond.
Now the coated metal surfaces can slide over these platelets that have a surface friction coefficient of under 0.01%. This results in an 80 % reduction in surface friction.
NO synthetic oil on the market including all oil additives can compare to the superior lubrication of MotorSilk to reduce friction in the most extreme environments.
Developed in 1991, MotorSilk has been used exclusively by select Fortune 100 companies and the U.S. Military. MotorSilk is now available for consumer use through Allied Advanced Lubrication.
MotorSilk is the trademark name for a line of scientifically engineered lubrication products utilizing the Boron CLS Bond technology.
Applications include all engines, transmissions, gears, fuel systems, greases, hydraulic systems and turbine fluids.
There is a superior MotorSilk lubrication product for any application including all commercial and industrial applications.
