My experience with LubriSilk Gun Oil:

My .17 centerfire had proved to be particularly prone to fouling and, after experiencing disappointing results with various products I recently tried LubriSilk Gun Oil.

For the initial application the barrel was thoroughly cleaned using LubriSilk Gun Oil. This was applied on a nylon brush, leaving for about an hour and then dry patching clean.

The gun was then used normally and it was noticeable that, even after this single application, fouling was reduced.

Using LubriSilk Gun Oil for subsequent, routine, bore cleaning has resulted in further reduction in fouling.

In addition, as a bonus, first shot inaccuracy from a cold, clean barrel is no longer a problem and accuracy has improved with grouping being tighter, more consistent and with fewer flyers.

Overall, LubriSilk has provided impressive results and is now a key component in my bore cleaning regime.

I’m Clive Perry and I am an owner driver for the courier firm Bluebell Express Couriers. The vehicle I use is a 2 litre Vauxhall Vivaro Diesel. I travel on average 2,000 miles / week, the majority on the motorways across the U.K.
Before I was introduced to Motorsilk I was averaging 550 miles from an 80 litre tank of diesel. Since using the measured dose of Motorsilk every time I refuel I have been exceeding 670 miles per tank full of diesel.

I was sceptical at first but decided to try the Motorsilk diesel additive in my Land Rover Discovery (07). I did NOT use the engine oil treatment. I poured 50ml of additive into my tank before adding 50 litres of diesel. For the first 300 miles I saw a very small improvement, hardly anything, but the engine did seem smoother. However, after 300 miles the consumption improved dramatically from 28.3 mpg to 31 mpg. A better than 10% improvement just using the diesel additive. I was astounded and recommend if you have a diesel engine that you use it.

I was sceptical at first but having used the diesel additive and the engine oil treatment I am receiving monthly savings very close to 20% consistently. I recommend everyone uses these Motorsilk products as soon as they can. It really does work and it does what these guys told me it would do. Just follow the manufacturers instructions and start saving. Get over your scepticism because its you missing on saving the money and the longer you leave it the more money you are wasting.
